Memories will last forever

So, today I decided to join my family at SeaBreeze when I was finished with work. I picked up the boys and headed to the park, hoping Caleb would enjoy himself and that Eli would tolerate our adventure :) After our adventure I'm so thankful that we were able to seize the evening and enjoy our time together. Caleb enjoyed himself once he got past the initial fear of riding any ride. I was just reminded as I drove home, to take in these experiences and cherish the memories we make together as a family. Things will come and go, but our memories will last forever.

Moments of Multi Tasking

This is something I have been pondering over for awhile....my life full is of moments of Multi-tasking! With 2 little ones and working full time- I suppose it has to be part of my life. But, at times it just creeps up on me and even when I should be completely focused on one thing, I find myself attending to multiple things! So, I will continue to remind myself, that there are times that I need to focus on one thing at a time, and slow down. I will committ to being focused and purposeful each day.
My prayer for the day, Lord, help me to remain focused and purposeful to be the best wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, co-worker, employee, neighbor, I can be. Thank you for your grace and provision!

Surprising Deals Today at Big Lots

So....today I ran into BigLots not expecting to find anything special and left with so many deals! I picked up cans of Light Pringles- Cheddar flavor for 75-cents...organic Gerber baby food 30-cents a jar...100calorie snack packs of Oreo Cakesters for $1.70/pack and 100-calorie packs of dark chocolate chip Pepperidge Farm Cookies for $1.50...packages of Ritz garlic herb filled crackers for 80-cents...hm, what else did i buy! I guess there were other snack things i got for less than $1 each--great deals! I will have to check out BigLots more often!

Deal of the Day

So today I was in CVS to pick up my cheap buys of the week and very disappointing...They didnt have any of the ThermaWraps that were going to be free...BUT, I did happen to see a name brand full size CrockPot for $6! My mom's crock pot broke and she needs a new one- so...perfect! This was in the clearance section that was 75%- good deal!

6 Months Old and Still Smiling!

Well it's hard to believe that little Eli is 6 months old already! He is growing so fast and is just perfect! He is such a handsome little boy, full of smiles and is so easy going. Children are such a blessing from God!

Here goes nothing! I have recently entered the blogging world...observing for a few months and have finally decided it's time to jump in! I'm intriqued by the idea of sharing my life with others through a blog...so here goes! I imagine if you are reading this you already know who I am...but why a blog? I guess I'm interested in sharing my adventures and joys with you. God had truly blessed me in so many ways and if I can share that with someone then perhaps they will be blessed as well. Through my blog I hope to share my adventures in being a new mom and a loving wife as well as share with you some of the things I am interested in. A few of my interests include bargain shopping, scrapbooking when I have time and most importantly learning how to be a better mom and wife.
